Happy Hats for Kids in Hospital
Our "Hero" Volunteers
Our volunteers are a cornerstone to Happy Hats' ability to fulfill its mission. They sew and decorate our Happy Hats and package our Hero Club gifts.
Our hats go off to our volunteers!
Prison Inmate Volunteers expertly sew and decorate tens of thousands of Happy Hats year round. This work gives them a positive purpose by contributing back to society and helps raise their self-esteem as they learn valuable transferable work skills.
Volunteers with developmental disabilities from Easter Seals press and label Happy Hats. These meaningful tasks raise their self-worth, improve motor skills and stimulate their minds while bringing smiles and laughter into our warehouse.
Autistic Teen Volunteers from Transition Partnership Program located in Torrance, CA prepare our gift packages for shipping. These tasks provide job training experience and build confidence.
Community volunteers from 16 to 96 years young have fun while sewing and embellishing our Happy Hats, assisting with office duties and fundraising events. Join a Happy Hats for Kids Women's Auxiliary.
