FOR INPATIENT & EMERGENCY ROOMS
This one-of-a-kind on-going program brings immediate smiles to the children's faces while warming the hearts of their families. The much-needed ER program helps patients and families who frequently wait several hours to see a physician. The purpose of the book is to help calm the children and their family’s fears by explaining basic hospital procedures in a gentle and humorous manner through colorful illustrations and dozens of fun, educational, interactive activities. The kids learn that courage and bravery comes from within, and each child is truly a "HERO."

"I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much my daughter and I enjoyed your book, "Hero Club" and the Hero Hat. Emily is a patient at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Arizona. She has been in the hospital a number of times for heart surgery. Emily enjoyed reading the book with me and wearing her hat. Thank you very much for providing such a wonderful tool to help ease the child's fears about coming to the hospital for medical procedures."
Sincerely,
